Most of the data in this family tree was collected by Neđo (Dušanov). His sources were the memories of the family, together with the municipal and church records of Ljubinje. Nebojša (Momčilov) first adapted that material for the web and built the original version of this site.
About the Šušić brotherhood
The Šušić brotherhood settled Pustipusi near Ljubinje, in eastern Herzegovina. From there the family spread, and one branch later settled in Bačka, in Gajdobra in Vojvodina.
The family's patron saint's day is Đurđevdan, Saint George's Day.
By family tradition the Šušići were masons and builders, and several churches are their work.
